You can provide your Linux and Windows LDAP users to access the Logsign SIEM web interface with their user name and password information.
After entering the interface, you can easily set which privileges (edit-create-delete) which modules to use with Logsign SIEM advanced User Management module.
Go to Settings> User Management> Ldap Settings from the web interface
Click Add New Ldap Source button to add Ldap source. In this menu, you can update your Ldap information and delete the Ldap resources you are not using.
On the page opened with the Add New Ldap Source button, you can enter the information of your Ldap server.
Name: The name of the Ldap source that will appear in Logsign SIEM.
Enable: With this checkbox, Ldap configuration settings are activated and required fields are opened.
Mode: Continue by selecting the Interface.
Type: Ldap server information.
Server URL: Ldap server access information.
**If your Ldap server has TLS support, you can enter ldaps: // server IP: 636 to provide secure communication between your server and Logsign SIEM.
NT Domain: Domain information of your Ldap server.
Search DN: Directory information of users in Ldap.
Groups to permit: The name of the group on the Ldap server that will access the Logsign SIEM interface with user rights.
Groups to admin: The name of the group on the Ldap server that will access the Logsign SIEM interface with admin rights.
Username-Password: Ldap is used to test the server connection. When the test button is pressed, Success or Invalid Credentials will return depending on the accuracy of the information entered.
